How to Make Money Fast

In one of the other pages on this site, I was showing people how to make money fast when you’re in a bind.

One of the ways you can really get up a head of steam making money on the Internet is to write about stuff and ship it off to Associated Content or eHow.com or other places like that.  You can do a search for other places that will pay you to write for them.

The key is volume.  Once you learn how to write fast, you can knock out two or three articles in an hour.  They don’t have to be works of genius, just write it out like you talk.  But there’s one thing I should’ve done when I started out writing for websites which would’ve made me a lot more money.  I do it now and you should too.

First off, don’t write about one thing and then another.  Write about the same damn thing four or five times in a row.  Like how you went on vacation to Washington DC  or some such place.  An idea like that has dozens of articles in it that you just need to draw out of it.

• When’s the best time to go,
• Where’s the best restaurants to bring your kids,
• How to ride the metro (subway),
• Which monuments are worth seeing
• Which monuments are worth skipping.

See there?  You could write each one of them out real fast because your not writing about fishing, then cooking, then changing the oil in your truck, then back to your trip.

Here’s the thing that makes it all worth while doing it this way.  After you get your money from Associated Content, get yourself a free blogger blog and use the same articles for a blog on traveling to Washington DC.  You ad some Google AdSense code and you’ll make money off of that.

It’s not paying the rent but it’s like free money.  I could write up five of them articles a day, send them in and then make a blog in about an hour (when I started out – now it’s like 20 minutes).  I’m telling you, in a month, you’ll have thirty or these.  Even if each one of ‘em only make a nickel a day,  that’s $45 extra each month – and another $45 extra next month and each month after that.  You won’t always get the same amount each month but what the hell.  I already got paid for the articles in the first place.

BIG TIP – When you submit your articles to Associate Content, DON’T give them exclusive rights.  Then you can’t do this.  That’s what I screwed up when I started out.

Alright, let’s get right down to it.  You need money and you need money fast. I’m going to give you a few chosen ways to get money flowing into your pockets the fastest way I know how.

Set up an ebay account and sell your stuff.  Look around you.  You know you have junk collecting dust in your house.  Shine it up, write it up and auction it off.  You could also do the local version of it.  Post up some flyers and and put your stuff on the front lawn or driveway for a yard sale.

Test out eBay, though.  You may find that you have a knack for writing up auctions and if you sell out an entire collection of something, you omay be ale to find a source for that item and keep on selling.

Back to your local area.  Are there any services you could perform for others?  Babysitting, cleaning services, cooking meals, running errands, that sort of thing.  One local community has recently passed a law stating that your garbage cans need to be at the curb no later than 7:00 am and back off the curb before 7:00 pm or you’ll face a hefty fine.

One local college kid went door to door offering to pull back the trash cans for $5 per house per week.  He gets paid in advance and lined up twenty five houses out of one subdivision.  That’s $500 per month for an hours work, following a garbage truck for about an hour and a half twice per week.  That’s thinking outside the box, right there.

Try to think beyond the usual – lawn care, pet care, gutter cleaning.  Find an underserved niche and you’ll rake it in.

Back to the internet.  You can get paid to take surveys.  I know you’ll read a lot of folks saying its a scam or a rip-off.  It’s not.  What it is, is boring.  You can make good money doing it but you had better be organized and have a good amount of time to spare.  Surveys and ‘complete this offer’ type programs often have you jump through hoops to get the big prize or the big money they promised you.  So, you can do it.  Like every thing else.  It’s not as easy as it sounds.

IF you can string words together, spend a couple minutes each day writing an article or two.  Send them to associated content where they will pay between $3 and $20 (but closer to $3) for any article they buy.  It’s not great money but if you get faster and better, it’s a good way to pick up $25 or more per day.  It helped me out when I had to buy two new tires and an alternator all in the same week.  I got the money for that bill before it landed in my mailbox.
